What a mess, folks. Yesterday the news broke and I can't stop thinking about it. FIFA's Disciplinary Committee has opened a procedure against the AFA, four Argentine players (Nahuel Molina, Leandro Paredes, Thiago Almada and assistant Roberto Fabián Ayala) and also against Gavi for what happened after the final whistle at MetLife.
I watched the final live and I already smelled that there would be slaps. The brawl was brutal, with Molina and Paredes going after Gavi, and then general chaos. But now that FIFA is stepping in, I wonder: Does this tarnish Spain's title or is it necessary justice?
Watch out, because the accusations are very serious. The AFA faces possible violations of articles 13, 14, 15 and 17 of the disciplinary code: from discriminatory chants to throwing objects. The players face charges of assault and unsportsmanlike conduct. This is not just a fine, there could be heavy sanctions.

Now, what bothers me the most is that Gavi is also charged for unsportsmanlike conduct. The guy went to the center of the field to celebrate and found Molina and Paredes on top of him. Look, in the video you can see how Gavi pushes Almada after he fouled him badly. But come on, it's not enough to open a file on him... or is it.
