The points are real from the update of July 27, 2026. Source: FIFA.com. Morocco has gained 90 points thanks to their semifinal, and Brazil loses 55 for falling to Jamaica in the round of 16 — yes, you read that right, Jamaica.
The debate I throw to you: ¿Do you think the ranking reflects the reality of current football well? It seems to me that Morocco is undervalued even so, but Brazil is paying the price of living off Neymar until he retires. And then there's the case of Croatia, which always seems to be declining but holds on at the top.
Another thing that catches my attention: Japan has risen to 18th place and Colombia to 12th. The surprise of the United States (host eliminated in quarterfinals) stays at 13th, just below Uruguay.
