Guys, what madness has happened these days in Barcelona. Just when we were all still floating with the fourth star, it turns out that the hero of the final, Ferran Torres, had a mural made in Gràcia and within a few hours it was vandalized. And it's not the first time it's happened, because recently they also messed with the one of Messi and Lamine Yamal. What's going on?
The mural was painted by TvBoy, a well-known urban artist, and showed Ferran wearing the national team jersey kissing the World Cup. An iconic image, really. But the thing is that it appeared full of graffiti against Spain and in favor of the Catalan national teams.
So, a mural of a guy who is from Barça and the National Team... and they still cover it. Mind-blowing.
The artist has already said that he will keep painting and that they don't intimidate him. That takes balls, because he's being showered with threats.

It's not an isolated case: the mural of Messi and Lamine Yamal was also vandalized days before. It seems there is a organized campaign against any symbol that relates Catalonia with the Spanish National Team.
And I ask myself... is this just radical people with spray or is there a deeper discontent? Because one thing is that you don't like the National Team, ok, respectable, but covering an artistic mural within hours is a level of tension that I don't even know how to call it.
